Wrinkle Reducing Injections

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which naturally occurs in the skin. These fillers provide volume to smooth out facial contours such as fine lines, wrinkles and reshape areas of the face like lips and cheeks.  Lower Face treatments include nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

LED Phototherapy

LED Phototherapy uses state of the art technology and the latest clinical research to deliver a safe level of light to the skin thus providing an effective treatment for a multitude of skin conditions and does so with no pain and no downtime. This skin rejuvenation phototherapy can promote the growth of collagen, brighten skin, reduce fine lines or wrinkles, shrink pores, tighten skin and improve skin texture. The LED light facial mask uses natural light waves to transmit light to the skin. There are 7 coloured light settings, each having a different effect on the skin.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a gentle deep exfoliation facial treatment.  Using a scalpel blade, the fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), dead skin cells, oil and debris is removed from the skin surface of the face.  This treatment increases the absorption of skincare products, helps minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles creating a healthy glow and more evenly textured skin. Dermaplaning is different from shaving which physically cuts the hair at the skin’s surface. Dermaplaning gently scrapes away the fine hair and it will NOT grow back darker and thicker. Dermaplaning is recommended every 4-6 weeks.

Cryotherapy

The Cryopen treatment is the application of nitrous oxide gas ejected under high pressure to an unwanted skin lesion. This gas is very cold and freezes and destroys the lesion. There is minimal discomfort and is a safe and effective way to remove skin lesions such as warts, age spots on hands and face, skin tags, verrucas (warts), benign moles and blood spots.

Deso Fat Dissolving Injections

Desoface and Desobody are the next generation of fat dissolving injections designed to treat stubborn pockets of fat which have failed to respond to diet and exercise.

Desoface can improve areas such as double chins & jowls.  ​Desobody reduces fat from difficult areas such as inner thighs, back fat, saddle bags, abdomen, flanks, arms, knees & lipomas.  Most patients start to see results from their Deso treatment after 2 to 3 weeks as the body drains the destroyed fat cells via the lymphatic system

Depending on the area treated and the amount of fat involved, several sessions at 4-6 week intervals may be required to achieve the desired result.​  This will be discussed at your consultation. ​

Side effects of Deso are inflammation, swelling and redness at the injection site. The treated area may also feel tender for a few days.  You may continue with day to day activities and physical exercise after 48 hours.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD Vodder Method post cosmetic surgery

After plastic surgery it is common to experience hard areas, water retention, swelling, bruising, hematoma or lumpiness to the areas treated. This is normal and is caused by inflammation and trauma from the cannula used to during the lipo suction procedure.  The channels that are formed by the cannula become fill up with fluid and the surrounding tissue around become swollen. MLD helps stimulate the lymphatic system thus moving the fluid back into the circulation, reducing pain, bruising and swelling. Most surgeons recommend MLD post cosmetic surgery to ensure patients get the best possible results and quicker recovery.
